They sold the boat to Jeffrey Epstein. The Polish company comments on the case


On Friday, the US Department of Justice published over 3 million pages of new documents in the Jeffrey Epstein case. The collection includes, among others: photos, videos, emails and FBI notes.

Jeffrey Epstein's people contacted the Polish company
According to published materials, the company LSJE LLC, associated with Jeffrey Epstein, was to purchase a RIB motorboat from the Kashubian company Sportis.
— Our company's relationship with LSJE LLC was exclusively of a commercial nature and concerned a specific product, a RIB sports boat – said Adam Żygowski, member of the management board of Sportis SA, to “Dziennik Bałtycki”
As the entrepreneur added, he cannot discuss the details of the order because they constitute a secret of the contract. — Our representatives did not visit Jeffrey Epstein's estate and had no other contacts with him, added Żygowski.
According to him, this was the only order carried out by Sportis for companies and entities related to Epstein.

What did the company associated with Jeffrey Epstein buy?
According to published documents, the boat was to be used to transport 12 people with luggage from and to the island of St. Thomas, which is located in the US Virgin Islands.
According to the description, the unit could accommodate 12 people in the cabin and 6 on the outside U-shaped bench. The drive consisted of two Yamaha engines with a power of 350 HP each. The value of the boat was PLN 132,000. euro (almost PLN 560,000), and the total cost including sea transport exceeded PLN 250,000. euro (over PLN 1 million).

Epstein's case began in March 2005, when the family of a 14-year-old girl reported that she had been abused by him in Palm Beach, Florida.
In June 2008, Epstein pleaded guilty and was sentenced in a Florida state court to 13 months in prison. He died in 2019 in his cell before his second trial.
