N'Golo Kante (34), Fenerbahce's newest signing, has arrived in Istanbul and fans of the team in Turkey stormed the airport and the streets to welcome the Frenchman.
The Frenchman came on a private plane from Saudi Arabia to Istanbul and landed at Sabiha Gokcen Airport. Upon exiting the terminal, N'Golo Kante was greeted by hundreds of people.

Fenerbahce confirmed the transfer of N'Golo Kante last night, but the footballer's arrival was delayed due to administrative issues. This evening the Frenchman arrived, and Fenerbahce fans came to the airport to welcome the world champion with France. According to those from fanatik.tr, hundreds of fans waited for the Frenchman at the airport.
His transfer to Fenerbahce was one of ups and downs. The Istanbul club issued a statement at the end of the mercato period, before the move was made official, explaining that Al Ittihad had not correctly entered the data into the FIFA system and the transfer could not be completed. Subsequently, FIFA finally accepted the transfer and N'Golo Kante arrived in Istanbul.
N'Golo Kante, 34, joined Al-Ittihad from Chelsea in 2023 after winning the Champions League, Premier League and Europa League with the Stamford Bridge side. He joined the English capital from Leicester City in 2016 after leading the Foxes to the only Premier League trophy in the club's history.
Kante was also part of France's national team that won the 2018 World Cup. The defensive midfielder has 65 caps for the French national team and scored twice for the Gallic Rooster.
