After Inter Milan has secured the transfer of the striker from Parma, Ange-Yoan Bonny (21 years old), “Nerazzurri” turned to another player of Cristi Chivu's former team (44), defender Giovanni Leoni (18 years).
“Gazzetta dello Sport” claims that the rivals AC Milan and Juventus are interested in the services of the young Italian defender.
Cristi Chivu wants to transfer to Inter another former student from Parma
Inter Milan has already spent about 70 million euros on transfers during the mercato period this summer. According to the Italian publication, the team prepared by Cristi Chivu is willing to pay up to 30 million euros for Giovanni Leoni.
He checked 17 matches for the Parma in Serie A in the previous season, and if the transfer succeeded, inter would let him evolve for “crusaders” and in the next season, in the form of a loan.
