In the Ural city of Revda, local poet Yuri Konovalov decided to draw attention to the problem of stray pigs through art. He wrote poems about “piggies” walking the streets and, using a neural network, created a musical composition that he published on social networks.

“Maybe people who are able to positively solve this problem will watch this video! And our, in general, lovely creatures will find a decent existence!” — the author wrote in the description of his creative call.

As reported by the Ural Meridian news agency, the problem has been going on for several years. Pigs owned by a local farmer roam garbage dumps and playgrounds. Local residents even suggested making them a symbol of the city.

Authorities say the issue comes down to litigation. The head of the municipality previously explained that the animals will be captured only after all court decisions on their seizure come into force. However, the owner of the pigs, farmer Anatoly Lutkov, filed an appeal, which continues to delay the solution to the problem.
