The Legislative Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk Territory is discussing expanding the list of measures to support the families of SVO participants.

At a meeting of the committee on construction, housing and communal services and issues of civil defense and emergency situations of the regional parliament, a number of bills were discussed. One of them will make it possible to include participants in a special military operation in the list of beneficiaries entitled to join housing construction cooperatives. Also not remarried widows and the children of deceased SVO participants will be given the right, as a matter of priority, to become members of the program to receive payments for the purchase or construction of housing.

“The current law provides for the establishment of a quota (no more than 30%) for program participants in municipalities. It is proposed to add a new category to the list of families that are to be included in the lists in the first place, regardless of the established quota. Thus, this initiative is aimed at providing additional social support to the families of deceased SVO participants,” said committee chairman Alexey Kulesh.

Deputies Elena Penzina, Anatoly Samkov, Pavel Semizorov, Sergey Gorbunov, Zakhar Yendzhievsky, Vladimir Chernyshenko, Ekaterina Udelko took part in the discussion.

Profile committee supported all the bills presented and proposed to consider them at the next session of the regional parliament.
