Berek, summarizing less than a year of the team's work, emphasized that it considered 522 demands of the Checking Initiative, and 354, i.e. 68 percent, were accepted for implementation. The lack of consent concerns 132 demands, i.e. 25 percent, while 7 percent, i.e. 36 demands, have been withdrawn – noted the minister.

He added that as part of the deregulation process, the government submitted to the Sejm proposals to amend 372 acts, included in 93 government projects.

Since the beginning of the Check WE Initiative, citizens and entrepreneurs have reported over 16,000 proposals for changes to the law, of which 70 percent it was supposed to come from citizens. Seven priority areas were selected from among the identified barriers, the so-called The Big Seven of deregulations, including: taxes, digitization of services, justice, energy, EU law, health and improvement of administration and security.

Deregulation is one of the pillars of the economic plan “Poland. Year of a Breakthrough”, which was presented by Prime Minister Donald Tusk in February 2025. In addition to announcing the preparation of deregulatory solutions, the head of government then proposed to the president of InPost, Rafał Brzoska, to lead a team that was to prepare its proposals in this regard.
