Rotariu has been wearing Igdir's shirt since the beginning of the season. In the winter he entered the last 6 months of his contract and can sign with any team.

If Igdir, the current formation of the Romanian, is in 9th place, with 34 points after 23 stages, Sakaryaspor, the club that has set its eyes on him, is in 18th, with 23.

Places 17, 18, 19 and 20 are relegated to the Turkish third tier.

Rotariu played 22 matches this season for Igdir, during which he scored 3 goals and provided a decisive assist. It is quoted by the specialized website Transfermarkt at 250,000 euros.

Rotariu started football at Poli Timișoara, and in 2013 he reached the senior team of Dinamo, but was sent back on loan to Poli.

Upon his return, Dorin Rotariu became a regular at Dinamo where he played for 4 years. In 2017, he left for Club Brugge, and the Belgians paid 2.2 million euros for his transfer.

He later played for Mouscron, Alkmaar, Astana, Ludogorets, Atromitos, FCSB and Ankaragucu before joining Igdir.

The most he was worth was 2.5 million euros in 2017, when he wore the shirt of the Belgians from Club Brugge.
