This year, in the Zheleznodorozhny district of Krasnoyarsk, as part of supporting the initiative projects of citizens, a new sports space will be developed on a plot of undemarcated land. It is located between residential buildings No. 3 on Krasnomoskovskaya Street, No. 47a on Tolstoy Street and school building No. 19.
As the administration said, landscaping will be carried out on an area of 760 sq.m. According to the design project, there will be a table tennis location with tables, a rubber coating, a canopy over the court and street lighting.
In addition, the land adjacent to the tennis court will be improved. The contractor will grade and compact the soil and then install the outdoor exercise equipment.
“We really want this wasteland, which is now periodically filled with cars, to stop playing the role of a parking lot and become a truly useful space for children and adults where they can spend their leisure time,” told resident of the area Irina Turkaeva.
For the convenience of car owners, they promise to provide parking spaces, and paths and sidewalks for pedestrians. They will also lay out a lawn, plant trees and shrubs, and install new street furniture – benches and trash cans.
The total cost of work at the site will be just over 9.5 million rubles, including 113 thousand rubles – co-financing of the initiative group.
Let us remind you that in 2025, in the Zheleznodorozhny district, as part of supporting initiative projects of citizens, two areas were landscaped: between the houses on Robespierre, 34 and Ada Lebedeva, 149, a space for recreation appeared, and between the house on Krasnomoskovskaya, 1a and non-residential premises on Krasnomoskovskaya, 1b – a sports ground with exercise equipment and a children's play complex.
