Over the past week, the incidence of influenza and ARVI in the Krasnoyarsk Territory has increased by almost 19%, Rospotrebnadzor reported.

In total, during this period, 8,590 residents of the region consulted doctors with cold symptoms. The main increase was observed among Krasnoyarsk residents – from 3,909 people to 5,135 per week and 59.8% of all cases in the region.
According to research, influenza A(H3N2), parainfluenza and rhinoviruses continue to circulate.
It is noted that the level of the epidemic threshold was not exceeded, and an increase in incidence was expected after the New Year holidays and the subsequent abnormal frosts, during which Contacts between people have decreased.
