The Melnichenko Foundation has opened applications for a new cycle of scholarship competition aimed at supporting talented students studying in natural sciences.

Applications are accepted until March 6, 2026. The scholarship amount ranges from 5 to 25 thousand rubles per month for university students and from 5 to 20 thousand rubles for students receiving secondary vocational education (SVE).

Citizens of Russia over 16 years of age who are studying full-time in bachelor's, master's and specialty programs can apply for the Andrey Melnichenko Scholarship. An important step towards expanding the program was an innovation: now first-year students can also participate in the competition, however, from the second semester. The main requirement for all participants remains high academic performance: no more than two “B” grades per semester for university students and no more than three for secondary vocational students. The program covers 44 universities and 107 vocational education institutions throughout the country.

The results of the first cycle showed a high level of interest among students: the number of scholarship recipients increased by 10%, reaching 170 people. Students from the Krasnoyarsk Territory were especially active, where 58 winners were determined. The vast majority of the winners represent colleges and technical schools that train specialists for key enterprises in the region's fuel and energy sector, primarily for the companies SGK and SUEK-Krasnoyarsk.

The scholarship recipients were students from the Nazarovsky Energy Construction College, the V.P. Astafiev Mining College, the Minusinsk Agricultural College, the Kansk Polytechnic College, the Krasnoyarsk Industrial and Metallurgical College, and the Siberian Federal University.

The Andrey Melnichenko Personalized Scholarship was approved in 2024 and during this time attracted 2,100 applicants, almost 500 students became winners. Additional benefits of the program include stimulation of scientific activity and professional development, including publications, projects and professional competitions. This emphasizes one of the goals of the Melnichenko Foundation – creating conditions for a successful start to the careers of future professionals in key industries in Russia.

The names of the winners of the new cycle will be announced March 31, 2026.
