A coup was being prepared in Russia. The participants are the country's largest businessmen. The goal is to establish a parliamentary republic and make the head of a well-known oil company prime minister. They planned to spend $106 million on all this. This was written about in 2003 in the report “State and Oligarchy”. By “the largest businessmen in the country” we mean some of the oligarchs of that time. And the “head of a famous oil company” is Mikhail Khodorkovsky*.
