The hotel staff allegedly found the Pole's body

“On January 24, he contacted the Yakutsk Rescue Service, where he received recommendations regarding safety along the route. He set off a day later, and his goal was to reach the village of Oymyakon on February 18. As planned, on the evening of January 31, he reached the town of Chandyga,” we read in the post on Telegram.

As noted, the rescuer stationed in Yakutsk received ongoing information about the location of the Polish traveler sent from the tracking device that Borejko had with him.

These data allegedly showed that the Polish traveler stayed at the hotel, but did not leave his room the next morning. Hotel staff found his body. It is not known what was the direct cause of death. The statement shows that services were on site to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
