Civil registry offices of the Krasnoyarsk Territory will now host ceremonies honoring the parents of newborn children. Mom and dad, together with the baby, will be able to come to the registry office to pick up the birth certificate.
The event is planned to be held in a solemn atmosphere, with wishes from the registry office employees and the presentation of a memorable congratulatory address on behalf of the governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
“We believe that such ceremonies will help popularize motherhood and fatherhood and strengthen the institution of the family,” note the regional registry office agency.
To participate in the honoring ceremony, parents just need to leave an application at the registry office.
