On Monday, the Ministry of Finance noted eight times greater interest in KSeF, which is why the infrastructure is “out of breath,” said Dariusz Standerski, Deputy Minister of Digitization. He added that due to temporary problems, the ministry has introduced a login limit.

As Standerski said on Monday during a meeting with journalists, the Ministry of Finance (MF), responsible for KSeF, has been recording more than eight times greater interest in the system since the morning than usual. However, on the first day of the system's operation, i.e. on Sunday, the Ministry of Finance already recorded several hundred thousand logins.
– Infrastructure is running out of breath. This is natural. Any system that has eight times more traffic than usual has problems, said the deputy head of the Ministry of Digitization (MC).
He pointed out that due to temporary problems, the Ministry of Finance introduced limits on logging in to KSeF; you can log into the system no more than once a minute. – If we have reached the limit, we should not panic. You need to wait one minute and log in again. Everything should work, he explained. He added that MC is “in ongoing contact with the Ministry of Finance team.”
Trusted profile failure. Thousands of people were unable to log in to KSeF
The trusted profile is down. The government service that allows you to log in to various state websites has stopped working. Thousands of Internet users could not confirm their identity, while entrepreneurs were unable to log in to the KSeF system.
Standerski estimated that some logins do not result from the desire to issue an invoice, but from the curiosity of users who want to check what the system looks like.

MC informed on the X platform that due to the very high interest in logging in to the KSeF 2.0 system, there may be temporary difficulties in logging in to the Trusted Profile. “Persons using public administration services for purposes unrelated to KSeF may, if possible, use alternative identification methods,” the ministry wrote.
During Monday's press conference, the head of the National Tax Administration, Marcin Łoboda, announced that as of 10 720 thousand were accepted in the National e-Invoice System. invoices, and approximately 1.9 million people authenticated themselves. – I emphasize once again that the system is stable, safe and, above all, it is the next stage in the digitalization of our economic life – said the head of the National Tax Administration.
Director of the IT Center of the Ministry of Finance, Roman Łożyński, informed that on Monday there was a great interest in the system. He also assured that official receipts are issued without delays. – To date, we have not recorded any significant security incidents – he added.
KSeF was launched at midnight from Saturday to Sunday. Entrepreneurs whose sales value, including tax, exceeded PLN 200 million in 2024 were the first to be obliged to issue invoices in the system. From February 1, 2026, all entities receive invoices via the KSeF system. In 2026, there are no penalties for incorrectly applying KSeF.
According to the estimates of the Ministry of Finance, there are approximately 4.2 thousand companies with a turnover exceeding PLN 200 million in 2024. In the second stage of introducing KSeF, which will start on April 1 this year, the system will cover the remaining companies – except the smallest ones, which are to be covered by it from January 1, 2027.
The regulations consider the smallest companies to be those whose monthly turnover, documented through the KSeF, does not exceed PLN 10,000. PLN per month. Therefore, from April 1, the system will cover a large number of people working in the so-called self-employed people who issue invoices to other companies. (PAP)
