In January 2019, Khayat became a participant in the “Voice of the Country” on “1+1”, choosing Tina Karol as his coach. At the end of the show, Khayat took third place.
The artist admitted that during the filming of the show he did not elevate the singer and thanks to this they managed to build a productive relationship.
“The first thing I think about Tina is that she is a very wise woman. And I have always looked at Tina and look at her exactly as a woman. Not as Tina Karol. Well, as a creative woman,” the singer said.

According to Khayat, the artist, probably felt his attitude towards her.
“I didn’t fall into convulsions from admiration, I clearly understood my tasks. For some reason, it seems to me that she also felt it – that there was no ascension. We simply worked as creative units,” he admitted.
Context
In addition to the “Voice of the Country” show, Khayat also took part in the “X-Factor” show on STB.
The singer is a multiple participant in the Ukrainian national selection for Eurovision. He applied four times and was in the final three times. This year he will compete for the right to represent Ukraine at the international song competition with the song “Herzi”.
