In times of growing demand for uniformed services, working at SOK may be an attractive option for many people.
According to “Wirtualny Nowy Przemysł”, newly hired officers can count on a salary of PLN 5,000 to PLN 6,500. PLN gross, and the average salary with benefits reaches up to PLN 8,000. PLN gross.

In addition, there are discretionary bonuses, allowances for night work, holidays, hazardous conditions, internship, as well as jubilee awards and overtime.

“SOK employees can count on a number of allowances: discretionary bonus, hourly bonus, bonus for additional activities, allowance for night work, allowance for work on holidays, allowance for dangerous and strenuous conditions, internship allowance, coal allowance, overtime, jubilee bonus,” explained Monika Komaszewska, senior inspector at the SOK Headquarters, whose words are quoted by “Fakt”.

What are the requirements for candidates who would like to start working at SOK? The candidate must have Polish citizenship, be at least 21 years old, have at least secondary education, have a regulated attitude towards military service, have an impeccable reputation and have adequate physical and mental fitness.
Additional advantages include knowledge of intervention techniques, martial arts, rescuer qualifications and a category B driving license.

SOK officers have similar powers to other uniformed services: they can ID cards, stop, inspect vehicles, impose penalties, and, if necessary, use firearms.
