Serious problems in the Ukrainian energy sector
Five districts (counties) of the Odessa Oblast remained without electricity in the morning hours on Saturday. In Odessa itself, deliveries were made only to critical infrastructure facilities.
Due to problems with the energy system in the capital of Ukraine, Kiev, suburban railway and metro traffic was briefly suspended. The failure was quickly repaired by the Ukrzaliznytsia state railway authorities informed passengers that delays in train traffic may range from 20 to 30 minutes.
