Donald Trump announces the “new era” of the American army. That's what he said to the cadets

Turning to about 1000 cadets at the end of the academic year, Trump emphasized that they were the first graduates who would serve in the “golden age” of the nation. He considered this as the effect of his efforts to rebuild the army and the transformation of American society.
The president assured that “Crusades of building a nation” in countries that “did not want to have anything to do with us” have already passedas well as the leadership, which subjected soldiers to “absurd ideological experiments”.
As noted by the New York Times, the president referred to his government cleansing program, the army and virtually every aspect of life from the programs of diversity, equality and integration, arguing that “the nation is worth fighting again.”
Trump: I rebuilt this army and rebuilt the army
Trump attributed his merits for building the army “better than ever before.” He calculated that this increased the number of recruits, morale and involvement in the protection of America first. According to the president, his predecessors “subjected the armed forces to all kinds of social projects and political matters, leaving boundaries without defense and exhausting our arsenals to fight in the wars of other countries.”
– It all ended. It ended with all power. (…) We are again a country based on merits – he concluded.
“New York Times” pointed out that Trump also tried to reform the army, making its ranks less diverse. He removed the four -star black general from the position of chairman of the college of combined bosses of staffs and released high -ranking women. He also banned the transgender persons in the army.
– We get rid of distractions (…) and focus our army on its basic mission: crushing opponents of America, killing enemies and defending our wonderful American flag in a way she has never been defended before. (…) The task of the US armed forces is not to organize shows, transform foreign cultures. (…) You will become officers in the largest and most powerful army the world has ever known. And I know this because I rebuilt this army and rebuilt the army – summed up the president.
He praised the projects, including new “completely new, beautiful aircraft” and the Golden Dome anti -missile shield initiative.
The New York daily reminded that Trump never served in the army and avoided calling for war in Vietnam, justifying that he has “spurs in the foot”.
