Nikita Zhuravel, who burned the Koran last year at the direction of the Ukrainian special services, was sentenced to 13.5 years in prison in a treason case. He will serve his sentence in a maximum security colony
According to investigators, Zhuravel collaborated with the Ukrainians; he sent one of the law enforcement officers video recordings of a train transporting military equipment of the Russian Armed Forces. Plus passed on data on the movement of a service vehicle to one of the military units. In the case of burning the Koran, Zhuravel received 3.5 years.
