KO and the new left have already announced the support of the government in Wednesday's vote on the vote of trust. PSL is to make a decision on Monday, and Poland 2050 demands “sharing” of the ruling coalition program. The positions of all coalition parties will probably be known at the beginning of the week.

The prime minister will present in the Sejm a vote of confidence for his government on Wednesday; A debate will take place after his occurrence. Voting is scheduled for 14. The proposal of the head of the government is a reaction to the defeat of Rafał Trzaskowski in the presidential election, which is to strengthen the government coalition. In his first post -election speech, Tusk emphasized that the government's action plan with the new president “will require unity and courage from the entire coalition on October 15”.
The votive case was one of the topics of meetings of coalition leaders – apart from Tusk – was attended by Sejm Marshal Szymon Hołownia (Poland 2050), Sejm Deputy Marshal Włodzimierz Czarzasty (Nowa Lefta) and deputy prime minister, head of the Ministry of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak -Kamysz (PSL). During the meeting planned for Monday in the same format, the prime minister is to present a sketch of their expose, which coalition partners are to work together.
Until now, the politicians of the Civic Coalition and the New Left expressed unequivocal support for the government.
“Donald Tusk enjoys the absolute trust of the Civic Coalition and support for his government, so here there is no discussion about whether we will support the government and how we will vote for a vote of trust. This is obvious” – said Ko club spokeswoman Dorota Łoboda.
She reminded that the head of government met with KO parliamentarians on Wednesday evening at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister to draw the post -election conclusions. “Everyone who spoke at this meeting expressed support for the prime minister. In our environment there were no moods or conversations about the fact that it could be different” – added Łoboda.
Politicians of the new left also express support for the government. The leader of this formation Włodzimierz Czarzasty estimated that the coalition agreement is valid, and the coalition itself will not only survive, but will function better than before. “The coalition continues and is doing well” – added the deputy head of the new left Krzysztof Gawkowski. He also emphasized that the speech of Prime Minister Tusk on June 11 in the Sejm during the presentation of the application for a vote of trust would be a announcement of actions in the next six months.
Polish leader 2050 Szymon Hołownia pointed out that the text of Tusk's speech in the Sejm is to be consulted with coalition partners and will be “shared” so that he contains joint program content and commitments. Hołownia also said that coalition leaders want the votive offering to be a new opening in the coalition. When asked about the negotiating position of Poland 2050, Hołownia stated that although his party has only 5 percent. support, without it, it will be impossible.
“Each of us has a control packet and each of us must listen to everyone,” he emphasized.
The PSL club has the final decision to make on Monday at its meeting. After the meeting of coalition leaders, the head of PSL Kosiniak-Kamysz assessed, however, that despite the emotion, the coalition works together and has a plan for these activities. He also pointed out that the current government managed to “do a lot together”, but – as he admitted – not everything was achieved. He also assured that at the meeting of the leaders “there was no dispute”, but only a discussion what strategy to take and what are the most important projects for their environments.
PiS, the confederation, and together announced that they will not support the government when voting on the vote of trust.
According to the Constitution, the prime minister may ask the Sejm to express a vote of trust to the Council of Ministers at any time of his office. The vote of trust then reaches a simple majority of votes in the presence of at least half of the statutory number of deputies. The lack of support from the Sejm for the application for a vote of trust obliges the prime minister to resign for the president.
For coalition partners – in addition to the issue of trust – an important topic is also the reconstruction of the government and the renegotiation of the coalition agreement of November 2023. Tusk talked about such plans in May; He announced that the reconstruction would take place in June after the presidential election, and its consequence will be the reduction and improvement of the government.
