In January, a “Dialogue with an Expert” meeting was held in the Ryazan office of the T1 IT holding, dedicated to the Day of Russian Students. The participants were digital volunteers – students of the Ryazan Institute (branch) of the Moscow Polytechnic University and the Ryazan Machine Tool College. The event was organized by the Digital Region ANO.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Digital Development of the Ryazan Region Maxim Sonikov. He congratulated the students on Russian Student Day and noted the importance of direct communication between students and representatives of the IT business.

“Today it is important not just to gain knowledge, but to understand how it is applied in practice and what specialists the industry really needs. Such meetings help students build their professional path more confidently and see prospects for working in IT in our region,” the minister noted.

In the format of a live conversation, the head of regional development of the T1 IT holding in the Ryazan region, Ksenia Yakushina, as well as the company’s team leaders who built a career here, spoke with the guys. They talked about their experience working in the holding, what skills are especially important today, and how work is structured in teams.

“Young engineers are drivers of digital transformation who help businesses create new solutions. For T1, it is fundamentally important to build direct interaction with universities and colleges in order to find such talents and show career opportunities within the company. We expect from future colleagues creativity, flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to changes, because these are the qualities that determine success in our rapidly developing industry,” noted Ksenia Yakushina.

Students asked questions about starting a career, necessary knowledge and programming languages, development opportunities and first steps in the profession. At the end of the meeting, the participants were shown the company’s office and told how work works from the inside.
