The office of the President of Ukraine told how many volunteers joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine under the “Contract 18-24”

“From memory I don’t want to mislead. But in fact, I would like the figure to be more. There may be something, perhaps up to 500 people, somehow. Although there were a lot of applications,” Palis said.

According to him, there are many applications from potential contractors who have not reached the lower limit of the mobilization age established in Ukraine (25 years), but not all of them eventually sign a contract.

“We will definitely investigate the reasons that influenced the fact that the person agreed in words, but did not reach the signing. Actually, the parents influence somewhere. There are different reasons, we study these issues, analyze to draw a conclusion and somewhere where necessary, to finish something,” Palisa said.
