In Krasnoyarsk, a drug courier received a prison term for attempted trafficking.
The joint press service of the regional courts said that in 2025, during the New Year holidays, a man got a job via the Internet as a courier for selling drugs in Krasnoyarsk.
At the end of October last year, he took drugs from a hiding place in Divnogorsk and headed to Krasnoyarsk, where he was detained by police. The detainee told police that received payments to the Ozone Bank virtual card opened in his name. During the investigation, he confirmed that he received 207,300 rubles for working as a drug courier.
The Sverdlovsk District Court of Krasnoyarsk found the man guilty of Part 3 Art. 30, pp. “a,d” part 4 tbsp. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and sentenced him to 5 years 6 months imprisonment in a maximum security colony. The court also confiscated the money received from the convict for working as a drug courier.
