A criminal case under the article on the provision of services that do not meet the safety and health requirements of consumers was initiated due to low temperatures in the Kezhemsky district hospital in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

The day before, information appeared in the media that during 40-degree frosts In the wards of the medical institution, the temperature regime has been significantly reduced, and therefore the health of patients is at additional risk. During the verification, the information was confirmed.
“According to preliminary data from the investigation, in conditions of low atmospheric temperatures in the hospital wards, the air temperature dropped below the optimal values established by sanitary standards. Investigators have inspected the wards, and patients and officials of the medical institution will be questioned in the near future,” said the regional Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee.
As part of the investigation of a criminal case under Part 1 of Art. 238 CC a proper legal assessment will be given to all the circumstances of the incident and a procedural decision will be made.
