The Department for Emergency Situations (DSU) sent a message of condolences, after a firefighter from Brasov County intervened in the accident in which his 14-year-old daughter was involved.
“There are missions that save lives and there are missions that change your life forever. There are interventions for which we are never prepared. Those in which we respond to the call of duty, not knowing that the mission can become the most painful of our lives,” said DSU officials, in a message on the Facebook page.
On Tuesday, the fireman went to an accident in Brasov county, in which a 14-year-old girl died.
“At the scene of the accident, beyond the uniform and procedures, there was a father who lost his daughter who was only 14 years old. It is a suffering that goes beyond words and any form of understanding. A pain that remains beyond interventions, reports and time,” the DSU officials said after the tragedy.
The accident occurred on an access road located in Poiana Mărului, Braşov county, according to News.ro.
“From the first data, the driver of a car, a 38-year-old man, who was behind the wheel of the car, allegedly lost control over the direction of travel, under conditions to be clarified during the investigation, a circumstance in which the vehicle left the roadway and overturned. As a result of the incident, the passenger in the right front seat, namely a 14-year-old girl, suffered serious injuries, as a result of which the medical staff arrived at the scene and declared the death”, the representatives of IPJ Brasov reported on Monday.
Also, on the back seats there were four other minor passengers, aged between 9 and 14, who suffered minor injuries, as did the driver.
