According to the expert, the real cost of a full-fledged course in Yekaterinburg should be about 70 thousand rubles. However, the average market price remains at 40 thousand. Educational institutions compensate for the difference, among other things, by reducing driving hours, which directly affects the quality of driver training.
Kurochkin also commented on the future change – permission for distance learning of theory from March 1, 2026. In his opinion, the new format will not reduce the quality, since the result always depends on the student’s motivation, and not just on the form of classes.
The expert believes that the main problem in the field remains underfunding, which leads to a reduction in driving practice.
