An official and a realtor were detained for fraud with housing for orphans in the north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory (video)

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the deputy head of the department of resource and logistics support of the education department of the administration of the Taimyr Dolgano-Nenets Okrug and a 39-year-old realtor are accused of committing fraud on an especially large scale in the purchase of housing for orphans.

According to investigators, in December 2024, the official entered into a criminal conspiracy with an acquaintance aimed at stealing money from the municipal budget by deliberately inflating the cost of residential premises intended to provide for orphans.
“The realtor posted online advertisements with an inflated market value of apartments, on the basis of which the average cost per square meter was established at more than 116 thousand rubles. Subsequently, the realtor found two owners who agreed to sell the apartments through electronic auctions at a pre-inflated price – 3.8 million rubles each. By agreement, the sellers transferred 1.1 million rubles to the realtor, which the accomplices appropriated for themselves in equal shares, thereby causing damage to the municipal budget in the specified amount,” the Investigative Committee said.
The defendants were detained, during interrogations they admitted guilt in committing a crime under Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the deputy head of the education department of the administration and a realtor were detained on charges of fraud in the purchase of housing for orphans.
The investigation intends to petition the court to impose a preventive measure in the form of detention against the suspects. In a criminal case, the necessary actions are taken to establish all the circumstances.
