Two men who disappeared after going out on the ice were found in the waters of the Bratsk Reservoir. The bodies of the fishermen, aged 65 and 71, were discovered using an underwater camera at a depth of about 10 meters, reports IrkutskMedia news agency, citing the press service of the Bratskoye Municipal Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
The men went fishing on March 29 in a Niva car and soon stopped communicating. The relatives first examined the shore themselves and then contacted the police. Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs established that the car was seen in the Dobchur area.

The fishermen moved along the ice of the Iya River in a narrow place between the rocks, where the current undermines the ice from below. The cause of death was a trip to unstable ice.
