However, it is his opinion that FCSB has a squad valuable enough to catch the play-offs, and the departure of Elias Charalambous is not a viable option

“FCSB started the match very well and created some important chances at the start of the game. They could have scored one more time and tied the game. Afterwards, CFR came back, and in the evolution of FCSB, the busy schedule and a certain state of fatigue were felt. The decisive moment was Toma's miss: if it was 2-0, it is hard to believe that CFR would have reversed the result.

If there were no fouls in football, all games would end 0-0. CFR interpreted the defensive phase better, while FCSB risked more because they needed points in the fight for the play-offs. Still, there are chances for both teams.
I don't think it would be beneficial to change the coach. There are times when you don't play well or you don't manage to win, but we also have to take into account the example of other teams. Nea Ando had seven consecutive defeats and still won the Romanian Cup. There are many similar cases. They know what they have to do there, and Charalambous leaving would not be a solution. FCSB has a strong squad and can win all the remaining matches of the regular season,” Dinu Todoran told Gazeta Sporturilor.
