Russia attacks the EU. Peskov about Kaia Kallas: We will never talk to her

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Sunday that as long as Kaja Kallas is responsible for foreign affairs in the European Union, Russia will not discuss anything with her, Reuters reported, citing Peskov's interview for Russian public television.

How can you talk about anything with Kaja Kallas? We will never talk to her, Americans will never talk to her either, that's obvious. (…) We just have to wait until he leaves, said the Kremlin spokesman. In Peskov's opinion, the current system of international relations “suffers from the degeneration of politicians in power in Europe.”

The Kremlin spokesman also emphasized that the Russian army “closely monitors American plans for the Golden Dome anti-missile shield, also with regard to Greenland.”

“What type of dome will it be? What threats will it counteract? I have no doubt that our military will carefully analyze these plans,” emphasized the adviser to Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

US President Donald Trump said on Thursday that an element of his agreement with NATO countries regarding Greenland is to install on the island part of the Golden Dome system, i.e. an anti-missile shield that will be able to, among other things, place interceptors in space and protect against all types of missiles, including hypersonic missiles. The system is to be ready by the end of Trump's current term, and according to estimates from the Congressional Budget Office, the cost of the elements to be placed in space is estimated at $542 billion.
