The annual Theater Spring festival will be held in Krasnoyarsk in March. The best premieres of the past season will be shown on the main stages of the regional capital.
The regional Ministry of Culture said that the selection was carried out by an expert council, which included authoritative theater and music critics from Moscow, St. Petersburg and other cities of Russia. A total of 47 applications were received for the competition. Experts watched 30 performances at regional theaters.
“After each show there were creative discussions with the production team. Based on the results, a competition program was formed and nominations were determined; 21 performances were included in the shortlist. From March 16 to March 27, 2026, performances will be presented at Krasnoyarsk theaters», — the press service said.
Minister of Culture of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Arkady Zinov noted that “Theater spring» every year gives Krasnoyarsk residents a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the brightest premieres of theaters from cities and regions of the region.
