The XV regional inter-union conference took place in Khabarovsk.
The report was made by the chairman of the regional trade union A.E. Dubkov, the secretary of the regional party committee A.K. Cherny. Representatives of trade unions, leading production workers, intellectuals, etc. took part in the discussion of the report.
The Jewish Autonomous Region was represented at the conference by the seamstress of the Birobidzhan hosiery and knitting factory E.K. Arnapolina, and the secretary of the regional trade union council S.N. Borisov.
The speaker and those who spoke in the debate noted that the working people of the region are making their worthy contribution to the implementation of the decisions of the 25th Congress of the CPSU. In the region during the tenth five-year plan, the volume of industrial production increased by more than 23%. 3 billion rubles have been invested in economic development. This is significantly more than in the corresponding period of the previous five years.
The conference delegates emphasized that issues of product quality and efficiency require specific, painstaking organizational work. Therefore, the Krasovprof, industry committees and factory local committees (FZMK) should consider one of the most important tasks to be the introduction of an integrated product quality management system and the widespread development of competition to increase the output of products with the state Quality Mark.”
An important place in the organization of the competition is given to the quality of products. At the forefront of this movement are the teams of the Teploozersky cement plant and the Birobidzhan clothing factory. They are repeated winners of the “Crystal” prize of the regional committee of the CPSU, the regional executive committee, the regional trade union committee and the regional committee of the Komsomol.
“To date, 6.5 thousand workers, 327 production teams have completed the tasks of the five-year plan. Among them are seamstress-machine operator of the Birobidzhan Hosiery and Knitting Factory E. K. Arnapolina, member of the All-Russian Central Council of Trade Unions, worker of the Birobidzhan Power Transformers Plant V. N. Dyachenko.
The conference talked about the need to widely expand work to implement the resolution of the CPSU Central Committee, the Council of Ministers of the USSR and the All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions “On further improving labor discipline and reducing personnel turnover in the national economy.” It provides for strengthening disciplinary and material measures against persistent violators of labor discipline. Much remains to be done to implement the resolution of the CPSU Central Committee “On further improvement of ideological, political and educational work.”
