EA Sports officially announced that the Real Madrid forward will be the face of the latest installment, marking his return after being the star of FIFA editions 21, 22, and 23.
This appearance is significant as it is Mbappe’s first cover since the transition from FIFA to EA Sports FC. He follows Jude Bellingham and Jamal Musiala, who were featured on the cover of EA Sports FC 26.

This marks Mbappe’s fourth time on the cover of the renowned franchise developed by EA Sports. The announcement comes shortly after an impressive showing at the 2026 World Cup, where he not only led France but also clinched the Golden Boot with an outstanding performance.
Although France did not win the World Cup, Mbappe shone brightly during the tournament, scoring 10 goals and providing 4 assists over 8 matches. His remarkable achievement has brought his total World Cup goals to 22, making him one of the highest scorers in the tournament’s history, alongside Lionel Messi and surpassing the legendary Miroslav Klose.
Outstanding Individual Season at Real Madrid
On the club front, Mbappe continued to impress while donning the Real Madrid jersey. In the 2025/26 season, he netted 25 goals and assisted 5 in LaLiga, along with 15 additional goals in the UEFA Champions League.
