One of the richest senators, Dmitry Savelyev, who is in jail on charges of organizing the murder of a business partner, complained that the plasma in his cell was too small. And asked permission to buy a new one.
The other day, Savelyev was visited by members of the Moscow Public Monitoring Committee. He is sitting in the Kremlin Central special detention center on the territory of Matrosskaya Tishina. In the cell: three neighbors, eight beds, a refrigerator and a TV. Which, according to Savelyev, is indecently small. And the most unbearable thing is the administration’s ban on buying a new one at your own expense. Therefore, the ex-senator with wealthy cellmates has to strain: squint a little, peer at the details, get tired.
Savelyev ended up in the pre-trial detention center in early August.
