Last summer was one of the three hottest in Russia and took 1st place in average temperature in the entire Northern Hemisphere – weather forecasters
It's tied for first, second and third place with the 2016 and 2021 seasons to within a tenth of a degree.
Forecasters note that all three places are occupied by summer seasons that passed no more than 10 years ago – this indicates “unconditional” climate warming.
