Oana Gheorghiu: “I'm neither a Bolojenist nor a Nichosorist. I don't think many people would have had the courage to clean up after others.” What does he say about Grindeanu

Deputy Prime Minister Oana Gheorghiu said on Saturday that he does not consider himself “neither a Bolojonian nor a Nichosorist”, but he respects Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan for the courage to take difficult and unpopular measures to fix the problems left by others. “He came to fix the house and clean up after someone else left the faucet on,” said of the prime minister.

“I respect Mr. Bolojan very much and it seems to me that he is doing something that I don't think many people would have had the courage to clean up after others and be cursed at. Because I want to say this, I think that it is difficult for people, very – very difficult at this moment and I understand and have all the empathy. And I know two things. If there was another solution, it would certainly have been applied, but there is not”. said Gheorghiu on Saturday, January 24, at Digi24.
She emphasized that the measures taken by the Government were necessary to avoid an even bigger crisis and that, in the absence of alternatives, they represent the only solution to stabilize the situation.
“And the second thing, people are generally angry with Mr. Bolojan, but let them think that they are angry with the one who came to fix the house and clean up after someone else left the faucet open. And that's what we should do, make sure that no one ever leaves the faucet open again.” said George.
The deputy prime minister added that the image of the prime minister as a frowning man is only a matter of physiognomy, stating that Ilie Bolojan “joke and smile” in the work environment.
“I'm neither a Bolojenist nor a Nicusorist and I don't think there is such a thing or there shouldn't be. I've also said – I've known Nicusor Dan since I was young, I was in the same gang of young people”. Oana Gheorghiu also declared.
Oana Gheorghiu on the relationship with Sorin Grindeanu: “I have never met Mr. Grindeanu”
Regarding the relationship with the PSD and with the leader of the formation, Sorin Grindeanu, Oana Gheorghiu stated that she does not have a personal relationship with him and that she did not respond to the criticisms leveled at her before being appointed to the position.
“Mr. Grindeanu made some statements. That doesn't mean we have a relationship. I didn't respond to these things because I don't do politics, I'm not interested, I have no interest, I'm not looking for an electorate and I have no reason to respond to political statements that probably only aim to increase his popularity. I've never met Mr. Grindeanu, we crossed paths at one point, we greeted each other and that's it, we didn't have the opportunity to talk. What I can tell you is that I collaborate very well with everyone in the government”, said the deputy prime minister.
Gheorghiu also specified that, at the governmental level, he does not feel major tensions or conflicts and that he does not perceive the existence of a “war” internally, even if there may be differences of opinion within the coalition.
Related to the statements made by Grindeanu to Oana Gheorghiu, everything started from a post published on social networks by Gheorghiu in which he names “empties” US President and Vice President Trump and JD Vance after a tense meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky. Then, the PSD leader requested that Ilie Bolojan withdraw the proposal submitted to President Nicușor Dan by which he nominates Oana Gheorghiu as deputy prime minister, in order to avoid “compromising” the relationship with the USA.
