Dinamo Bucharest prevailed on Friday evening at Hermannstadt's ground, score 2-1, and climbed to the first position in the SuperLiga, at least for the moment.
Both of the guests' goals were scored by left defender Raul Opruț.
“When you play in such matches, the world is focused on strikers, midfielders, sometimes you need a defender to help you. Raul had two moments of great inspiration. I even told him that he is our Brazilian this week,” said Dinamo's coach on Prima Sport 1, according to GSP.
Zeljko Kopic said that “synchronization is essential”.
“We have our style, we train week by week, we take into account the form of each player. It is essential that they understand each other, are connected mentally, know the movements of the team. Synchronization is essential. If you have footballers of the same level, it is easier for things to go,” Kopic added.
Dinamo climbed to first place in the SuperLiga, with 44 points after 23 stages, but its main supporters have not yet played their match in this round. Universitatea Craiova (43 p) receives the visit of FC Botoșani on Saturday, while Rapid (42 p) will play at UTA Arad on Monday.
