The new entity is to be managed mainly by American investors and managers, which is expected to end the political disputes surrounding the application that have been ongoing for over a year.

Donald Trump thanks the Chinese authorities
The president thanked Vice President JD Vance and members of his administration for bringing the negotiations to a conclusion, which he described as “dramatic, final and beautiful.” He also paid tribute to the Chinese leader. — I would also like to thank Chinese President Xi for working with us and finalizing the agreement — Trump wrote, emphasizing that Xi Jinping could have done things differently, but decided to support the agreement.
According to information previously provided by the White House, TikTok's new American company is to take over responsibility for data protection, content moderation and algorithm security. China's ByteDance will retain a minority stake, and most of the seats on the management board will go to Americans.
The agreement is intended to ensure the continued operation of the application in the US and formally end the dispute caused by the law banning TikTok's operations under Chinese control.
