The Kazakh authorities canceled the concerts of foreign agent Morgenstern. Official reasons: friendly relations with Russia and reluctance to spoil the country's image.
According to Mash, permission for two concerts – on December 7 in Almaty and December 8 in Astana – was issued to the organizers by the Ministry of Culture of Kazakhstan. Alisher refused to go without these papers. First, the orgs flew into the country – and on the very first day they were met by law enforcement officers. They explained that the permission was a mistake, Morgenstern was not welcome in the country.
