FIFA has banned CSKA Moscow from buying new players until the summer of 2026. Due to debts to the Dutch club, the army team cannot transfer money for the player because of anti-Russian sanctions. Khimki near Moscow has almost the same story – they did not pay the former midfielder’s salary.
The federation imposed a ban on the registration of new football players on November 14. According to it, the red-blues will not be able to enter the transfer market for the next three windows. Because they owed the Dutch Hernveen for the transfer of winger Ejuka – the army team did not transfer €3 million.
FIFA introduced the same ban against Khimki. According to Mash, they did not transfer the amount to ex-midfielder Besard Sabovich. The club tried to appeal this decision to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, but lost. The management plans to resolve the situation before the start of the winter transfer window.
