Items forbidden in Germany
In Germany, people who are accustomed must also be careful to carry knives with you. Under German law, their possession is prohibited at sports events, festivals, concerts, exhibitions and fair. They cannot be transported on trains or buses or have with you at the station.
The sale and possession of some types of knives are completely prohibited in Germany. It comes, among others for butterfly knives. Breaking the law is punishable by a fine or even imprisonment of up to three years.
Apart from your own home or property, you cannot wear knives with a blade that can be opened with one hand (so -called one -handed knives) and knives with a fixed blade, the length of which exceeds 12 cm. In this case, you can be punished for non -compliance with a fine.
