According to Sadovoy, while at work he can afford to raise his voice at his subordinates, at home he prefers not to quarrel with his wife.
“I need to switch because I come home from work, and I'm also the mayor. I need to, you know, switch for a while,” he said.
Sadovy added that his wife sometimes reminds him of this.
“At home, quarreling with your wife is more expensive for yourself. You need to be stupid, you need to nod your head: “Yes, yes, yes, yes.” Then the wife herself will rethink everything, and that’s it. I recommend this to everyone, by the way, to newlyweds: “Never quarrel with your wife, because you will lose your time, your health and you will not be right,” he shared his experience. “Then she herself will understand that she was wrong, like a cat will purr, and everything will go fine.”
Context
Sadovyi got married in 2001. In their marriage, he and his wife had five sons: Ivan-Pavel, Tadei-Luka, Mikhail, Joseph and Anthony.
In the declaration for 2024, Sadovy notedthat he earned more than 869 thousand UAH, and his wife – more than 13 million UAH. Sadovoy’s wife is the main co-owner of PJSC “TRK Lux”; she received more than UAH 2.3 million in salary and UAH 10.7 million in dividends from the media holding.
