Employees of Krasnoyarsk Rostelecom, the Regional Radio and Television Transmission Center and the Russian Post organized Donor Day for the first time at the provider’s office.
As part of the event, 17 liters of blood were donated, which was transferred to Krasnoyarsk Regional Blood Center No. 1 for further shipment to hospitals.
The event was attended by volunteers who had undergone a preliminary medical examination and had no contraindications to donation. This is more than 30 people, among whom is the head of the regional branch of Rostelecom, Alexey Usatov.
“At the initiative of the trade union, for the first time in the Rostelecom office, we organized Blood Donor Day. I am glad that my colleagues and partners from other organizations took part in it. Such events help not only save lives, but also strengthen the team spirit and social responsibility of everyone,” said Alexey Usatov, director of the Krasnoyarsk branch of Rostelecom.
“Donating blood is our feasible contribution to a great humanitarian cause. We consider it important not only to participate in such events, but also to actively promote donation within the company in order to inspire colleagues to do good deeds,” said Pavel Chernov, Chairman of the Trade Union Organization of the Krasnoyarsk Branch of Rostelecom.
