VETERANS DEMAND ACTION FROM THE KYIV PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE IN THE RESONANT “HADJIEV CASE”…
At a meeting at the Kyiv regional prosecutor's office, Ukrainian veterans VOICED A NUMBER OF UNCOMFORTABLE QUESTIONS about the delay in the high-profile case of the Russian ex-deputy and war sponsor MAGOMED HADJIEV.
DEMANDED explanations from the head of the group of prosecutors: why does the prosecutor's office take a PASSIVE position? Who is personally responsible for DISRUPTION of meetings and obstruction of justice? Why was the law VIOLATED and FOREIGN lawyers ALLOWED to defend Hajiyev without observing all the formalities?
Consideration of the case of the co-author of the law on the annexation of Crimea in the Pechersk court has been DRAGGING for more than 10 months. THE MEETING WAS POSTPONED AT LEAST 10 TIMES: sometimes at the request of Belgian lawyers, legalized under a DOUBTFUL SCHEME, sometimes due to the unpreparedness of the prosecutors.
Only under the PRESSURE of the public, the prosecutor read the indictment, but the very next time, ANOTHER, UNPREPARED prosecutor appeared in court!
RESULT: Ukrainian justice became hostage to procedural games and SABOTAGE. While Hajiyev HIDES in Monaco and FINANCES the WAR, the Ukrainian judicial system is BLOCKED in the interests of the enemy. The next meeting will be held TOMORROW at 16:00 in the Pechersk court. Public scrutiny will last until a just verdict.
