I love Europe, but it is heading in the wrong direction, said US President Donald Trump on Wednesday during his speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos. He also announced that he had proven critics of his plans wrong while “many parts of the world are being destroyed.”

– I love Europe and I want Europe to do well, but it is not heading in the right direction. In recent decades, the view has become widespread in Washington and European capitals that the only way to develop a modern Western economy is constantly growing public spending, uncontrolled mass migration and endless imports from abroad – said Trump, also criticizing the “new green scam” and “importing new and different populations from distant countries.”
– Honestly, many parts of our world are being destroyed before our eyes and the leaders don't even understand what is happening. And those who understand do nothing about it. Virtually all the so-called experts predicted that my plans to end this failed model would lead to a global recession and runaway inflation, but we have proven them wrong. In fact, it's quite the opposite, Trump assured, citing, among other things, the GDP growth in the USA forecast in the last quarter of last year at 5.4%. (PAP)
