The Oscar-winning actress for the 2023 film is now on the list of worst performances, along with heavy names and the most expensive film in the history of Netflix

The organizers of the Golden Raspberry Awards, which annually choose the worst films and performances from the previous year, announced the nominations for the 2026 edition, with the live-action feature film “Snow White” and “War of the Worlds”, starring Ice Cube, leading the way with six nominations each. But the list also includes heavy names of cinema such as Natalie Portman, Robert de Niro or Michelle Yeoh, who was awarded the Oscar just 3 years ago, according to Variety magazine.

Along with “Snow White” and “War of the Worlds,” the Oscar-spoofing gala nominated “The Electric State,” the most expensive movie in Netflix history, “Hurry Up Tomorrow” and “Star Trek: Section 31” for worst feature.

In the acting categories, Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye is nominated for worst actor for his role as a fictional version of himself in “Hurry Up Tomorrow,” which garnered a total of five Razzie nominations. The singer-songwriter will compete for this (dis)honor with Dave Bautista (“In the Lost Lands”), Ice Cube (“War of the Worlds”), Scott Eastwood (“Alarum”) and Jared Leto (“Tron: Ares”).

Meanwhile, worst actress nominees include Ariana DeBose (“Love Hurts”), Milla Jovovich (“In the Lost Lands”), Natalie Portman (“Fountain of Youth”), Rebel Wilson (“Bride Hard”) and Michelle Yeoh (“Star Trek: Section 31”).

Yeoh was awarded the Oscar for Best Actress in a Leading Role just 3 years ago for her performance in 'Everything Everywhere All at Once', which was also the big winner of the 2023 Academy Awards.

It won Oscars for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress (Jamie Lee Curtis), Best Supporting Actor (Ke Huy Quan), Best Original Screenplay and Best Editing.

But Yeoh's new film from the “Star Trek” universe, produced for streaming on Paramount+ (SkyShowtime, in Romania), has been widely panned by critics and mainstream audiences alike. On the review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes it has an approval rating of only 23% from critics, while on IMDb it has an average rating of 3.8 / 10.

Another category that always attracts attention at the Golden Raspberry Awards is the worst on-screen couple, where this year's nominees include the Seven Dwarfs from Snow White; James Corden and Rihanna in “The Smurfs” (2025); Ice Cube and his Zoom camera from “War of the Worlds”; Robert De Niro as Frank and Vito in “The Alto Knights”; as well as The Weeknd and his “colossal ego” on “Hurry Up Tomorrow.”

The “winners” of the 46th annual Golden Raspberry Awards will be announced on March 14, a day before the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announces the winners of the Academy Awards.
