In the Sovetsky district of Krasnoyarsk, police officers detained man, suspected of attempted drug trafficking. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region.
“During the inspection of the suspect’s apartment, it was discovered: many bags, bundles and containers with mephedrone, heroin and methadone, as well as electronic scales and packaging material for packing bookmarks. During the study, it was found that the total mass of narcotic drugs was about one kilogram,” told the regional police.
Law enforcement officers found out that the man worked for several months as a pawnbroker of narcotic drugs, which he placed in hiding places in the Sovetsky district of Krasnoyarsk.
A criminal case has been initiated against the suspect under Part 3 of Art. 30, part 5, art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Attempt at illegal sale of narcotic drugs on an especially large scale.” He faces a maximum penalty of life in prison.
