

The program of events included competitions, interactive games with animators, photo zones, magic tricks and a festive concert, the report says.
“Super emotions! There are so many people, entertainment and gifts here. I sang and danced,” nine-year-old Maxim from Mariupol shared his impressions.
The Rinat Akhmetov Foundation reported that for 25 years it has been organizing entertainment events for the New Year for children from vulnerable categories, especially those in need of support and attention.
“I really like such events. It’s fun and there are gifts. I liked the concert the most,” says 13-year-old Veronica from Soledar.
The entertainment program was specially developed for the active leisure of children; it combined outdoor games and competitions, dancing and sports tests, the organizers noted.
“The competitions here are very fun. I like the fact that here I can meet new friends,” says nine-year-old Lisa from Soledar.
Context
The Rinat Akhmetov for Children program implements projects to support children affected by Russian aggression. Thanks to the program, children undergo psychological and physical rehabilitation. During its work, the Foundation's assistance reached more than 6 million children.
Part of the large-scale program “Rinat Akhmetov for Children” is a New Year’s event that has been going on for 25 years. The Foundation’s team organizes New Year’s activities for children from vulnerable categories, as well as for those affected by the consequences of Russia’s war against Ukraine.
