Container transportation on Krasnodar Railways increased by 6.3% in 2025

In 2025, 240.7 thousand TEU containers were transported on the Krasnoyarsk Railway in all types of traffic, including domestic, export and transit, which exceeds the result of 2024 by 6.3%.

89.6 thousand TEUs were sent in domestic traffic (+6.5% by 2024), in export traffic – 151 thousand TEUs (+6.2%).

The number of loaded containers sent in all types of traffic increased by 7.3% and amounted to 166.7 thousand TEU (2 million 821 thousand tons of cargo were transported, with an increase of 10.7%).

Including, the following were transported from Krasnaya Railway stations in containers:

  • timber cargo – 92.5 thousand TEU (-7.8% compared to 2024);

  • non-ferrous metals – 42.4 thousand TEU (an increase of 1.5 times);

  • chemicals and soda – 6.8 thousand TEU (-1.8%);

  • other and groupage cargo – 5.5 thousand TEU (an increase of 1.6 times);

  • grains – 4.2 thousand TEU (-1.4%);

  • non-ferrous ores and sulfur raw materials – 3.4 thousand TEU (an increase of 3.3 times);

  • other food products – 3 thousand TEU (+9.1%);

  • construction cargo – 2.6 thousand TEU (-6.2%);

  • scrap ferrous metals – 2.6 thousand TEU (+3.1%).
