Specialists from the Krasnoyarsk Rosselkhoznadzor found seeds of non-existent varieties in the assortment of the Siberian Gardener online store.

It turned out that 378 lots of vegetable seeds and 9 lots of fruit seeds – 16% of the store’s entire assortment – were not included in the State Register of varieties and hybrids of agricultural plants approved for use.

So, on the site we found:

• 11 varieties of white cabbage: “Magic cabbage rolls”, “Until spring”, “Crispy snack”, “Early fantasy”;
• 6 varieties of potatoes: “Ausonia”, “Ilona”, “Empress”, “Lada”, “Milena”, “Farmer”;
• 20 varieties of onions: “Red Plate”, “Purple Moon”, “Skorospelka”;
• 34 varieties of carrots: “Grandma’s order”, “Winter candied fruit”, “Sweet winter”, “Long blunt without core”, “Polar cranberry” and others;
• 48 varieties of sweet peppers: “Ambal”, “English Boot”, “Orange Miracle”, “Two in a Cube”, “Caramel Sticks”;
• 80 varieties of cucumber: “Normalek”, “Window latch”, “Monsieur Olivier salad”, “Three waves of harvest”, “Salted caramel”, “Salt yourself”, “Three wishes”;
• 166 tomato varieties: “3 rubles kilometer”, “Candy on a branch”, “Pigtails”, “Marked”, “Honey Spruce”, “Big Uncle”, “Bucephalus”, “Granny”, “Rebel Star Fighter”, “The Right Size”;
• 13 varieties of table beets: “Baby Beat”, “Crimson Hit”, “Ruby Moon”, “Siberian Borscht”;
• 7 varieties of apple trees: “Borovinka”, “VEM-souvenir”, “Ural pink”, “Chelyabinsk summer”, “Gorno-Altaiskaya”, “Radonitsa”, “Amber”;
• 2 varieties of pear: “April”, “Bolshaya”, etc.

Based on facts of violations of the Federal Law “On State Control and Municipal Control in the Russian Federation,” the site owner was warned against violating mandatory requirements.
